Upper Deck Getting A Makeover

YFC/ Youth Unlimited Lincoln’s youth facility, the Upper Deck Youth Centre, is this year’s recipient of the Many Hands Project, which helps pre-selected, local, not-for-profit agencies undergo various renovations performed mainly by students in Niagara College’s construction programs.

A special ceremony was held at the Centre to mark the beginning of the makeover, which will be completed on April 12.  On hand were Lincoln mayor Bill Hodgson, Niagara College President Dan Patterson, and Dave DiFelice, vice president of customer service and operations at Canadian Tire Financial Services, as well as many Niagara College students associated with the project.

Representing YFC/ Youth Unlimited was  Executive Director for Southwestern Ontario Steve Deller, YFC Lincoln Satellite Director Glen Sparks, and ministry associates Jane Bleijerveld and Steve Steve Samuels, as well as members of the YFC Lincoln Steering Committee: John Thompson, Dylan Bleijerveld, Jerry Shroeder and Larry Dyck.  Click here for photos from the evening.
